As somebody whose charitable impact relies heavily on donating money, do you have any advice for folks who want to help the world but who also want the āwarm fuzziesā that come with it?
Iām asking because I know a handful of (non-EA) people who care about the world but who feel like just writing a check wonāt give them the emotional gratification that theyāre looking for.
It seems to me that there ought to be an EA talking point, so to speak, for that sort of personācurious to know if you have any perspective on it!
OK, throwing out an idea hereā¦ could somebody cobble together a massive direct cash transfer fund? Itās not like thereās a lack of global poor to receive fundingā¦
