Raising for Effective Giving (REG) is a nonprofit that spreads effective altruism ideas among poker professionals and encourages them to pledge to donate a percentage of their income to effective charities.

History

REG was founded in 2014 by professional poker players Liv Boeree, Igor Kurganov, Phil Gruissem and Stefan Huber.^[1]
