I want to remind you that humans have a mammalian part of the brain. That part was trained in millions of years of our evolution: from joy to sadness. From madness to enlightment. From love to genocide and back. All this.
This is "specialized hardware". It's important - it's not "fast" always. Sometimes it has processes running for decades. Some old trauma. Some quarrel with family that finally resolves.
It's complex. It's required to do relationships and handle our bodies. Trying to solve relationship problems with prefrontal cortex only is like deep learning on a CPU. Can work but takes a looooooot of time.
Don't be worried so much about AI. We got it. We warned USG and the EU and it's going well. See Margaret Mitchell and others helping to create a popular TV broadcast about AI. We got it. It's going to be ok.
Take care y'all. Ok? Our brains need a lot of rest to process complex events . I was sleeping for 12 hours after working on AI. For months I slept a lot. Didn't open the news.
Feel so much better now. Fresh. Like superintelligence. Really, a rested brain can do unimaginably more compared to a tired one.

Consider this: an AI researcher has a brain which uses logic, which the brain considers "superior" to emotion/patterns/heuristics. This brain wants to build human-level AGI that is made with deep learning. Patterns and heuristics :) and they consider this method to be superior to logical AI.

Too much emotion is bad. Too much logic is also not so good (tendency to overthink, burn out etc, when there were simpler solutions)
