The podcast I am running (https://linktr.ee/underthemicroscopebiopodcast?subscribe) is very early days and has had some very amazing guests (head of paleogenomics institute, head of AMR network) but I want to also incorporate some more 'EA aligned' explicit topics such as preparing for biosecurity events, pandemic prevention, global health and inequality.

Anyone who has a free hour to hop on a call to answer some questions (I can provide in advance) for about a 20-30 minute segment for a podcast episode on any of these topics:

• global health, esp effectiveness of interventions, historical blunders from organisations in the field, play pump esque examples as a warning against fuzzies-only giving, current global health trends
• public health esp AMR in the rise of personal health vs one health/community safety, pandemic candidates including swine and bird flu, hMPV media coverage, malaria and mosquito borne diseases
• pandemic prevention and biosecurity esp non narrow countermeasures, explaining the basics of information hazards
• careers in effective biology- orgs or resources for early career (undergrad/Msc students) who want to transition into biology to help others, esp those with atypical routes (eg lab and clinical medicine transitioned to other fields etc)
• opportunities for young STEM/science orientated individuals (esp minority groups such as women/afab in Bio, disability) and any campaigns/programs in need of marketing, interning, volunteering etc that you want to raise awareness of

Eternally grateful for all the help of everyone who shares their time and knowledge. The entire podcast is a passion project that stemmed from 'I want to learn biology' to 'I'll make a podcast too so maybe I can share it with even just one person who it will help'.
