Effective Altruism Georgetown is excited to continue our on-campus community building efforts specifically geared towards AI! We have created a syllabus that has now been made publicly available with the intention of introducing EA-minded students to AI, X-Risk and its reduction, as well as technical up-skilling opportunities.

We are particularly keen on creating a talent pipeline for both university students interested in AI-focused policy work as well as technically minded students, so please reach out if this sounds at all of interest! We'd love to host speakers for presentations, coffee chats, or even just to pass along contacts to participants!

In sharing this with the broader EA community, we hope to receive feedback, recommendations, and —if it seems helpful— provide a format for others to take from or use. Additionally, we welcome any and all constructive criticism and would be eager to incorporate relevant feedback as seems fit.
