We all know how challenging it can be to stay productive when you're working on something without much external structure—whether that's a self-directed project, job searching, or another personal goal. It’s easy to feel stuck, unmotivated, or isolated along the way. For job seekers, it might mean navigating countless applications and rejections. For project workers, it could be figuring out how to stay on track without a team or a boss. Whatever you're working on, finding support, accountability, and connection can make all the difference.

That’s where Effective Accountability comes in!

We’re building a supportive community of impact-oriented individuals who want to stay motivated and connected while pursuing their goals. Whether you’re working on job applications, research, entrepreneurship, or any personal project, we’re here to help you stay on track.

How It Works:

We host open weekly meetings where you can:

• Set intentions for the week
• Create accountability strategies
• Connect with a supportive, like-minded group
• Celebrate rejections!
• Find Collaborators/Accountability Partners

Our meetings are free, open to anyone, and no commitment-- you don’t even have to talk if you don’t want to. We do encourage joining at the start of the meeting, as they follow a loose structure, but late arrivals are always welcome! Meetings are scheduled for < 1 hour, with an after-hangout for anyone who wants to stay. Feel free to drop in on any meeting!

Job Apps/Career Accountability Group 

• When: Mondays at 10:00 PST / 18:00 GMT
• Zoom Link: Job Apps Accountability Zoom link; passcode: EA
• Zoom Calendar Event Download: Calendar download link  (you may need a calendar app to add the .ics file to your calendar. If you don’t have one on your laptop/pc, try downloading the calendar file on your phone, since most phones have a calendar app installed.)

Project Accountability Group (e.g. startup, research, organizing) 

• When: Fridays at 11:30 PST / 19:30 GMT
• Zoom Link: Project Accountability Zoom link; passcode: EA
