In Short
Ambitious Impact (AIM) is looking for a talented freelance design contractor to help us maximise the quality of our visual communication. This person will work across our websites, social media, newsletter and event branding materials. In this role, you will work on specific design tasks delegated to you by AIM’s team.
Likely tasks include:
- Design simple, professional-looking websites for our new incubated charities when they launch
- Editing and improving the visual clarity of our Ambitious Impact and Charity Entrepreneurship websites
- Designing data visualisation materials to better communicate the impact of AIM and our incubated charities on social media, our website, and for key presentations
- Producing new banners, leaflets, and other branded material for use at events that AIM staff attend
We are looking for the following key skills and/or experience:
- Able to produce simple, clear, and compelling websites using Wix. Prior experience building new websites using Wix is strongly preferred. Experience using other drag-and-drop website design platforms (e.g. Squarespace) is also a significant advantage.
- Able to produce engaging and accurate visual assets using Canva (preferred), or similar software.
- Able to work autonomously, quickly, and with a clear focus on producing useful outcomes (being willing to discard nice-to-have additions to a project in favour of fast and high-quality delivery of the core product)
- Demonstrates a sharp eye for detail in your work such that minimal additional editing is required
