I am a Masters Student in Modern Languages, with an undergraduate degree in German & Philosophy. I hope to use my humanities background to eventually change the world for the better. I am interested in careers in law or policy, and I am also interested in using my philosophy background to help make an impact. Furthermore, I am a keen writer and photographer, and would love to find more opportunities to incorporate creative writing and aesthetic theory into the EA movement.

I would like to enter my short story: Simon Says

It is a semi-satirical story about the dangers of AI systems being able to imitate humans too well, and the implications this might have for human relationships. It also incorporates mental health and LGBTQ+ themes, but the main theme is behavioural misalignment in large language models (LLMs) and their potential psychological power over humans. I hope it may be of interest!
