This sequence includes two interactive exercises. You might find them interesting if you have the time, but don't feel obligated to complete them.

In the first exercise, you'll consider how you weigh the welfare of different types of beings, and how that might affect your choice of where to donate. 

In the second exercise, you'll write a letter to a historical counterpart, trying to convince them to expand their own compassion. You'll also consider what a future counterpart might write in a similar letter, sent to... you.
