The Effective Animal Advocacy reading group works its way through the syllabus for the Effective Animal Advocacy course taught at NYU by Prof. Jeff Sebo.

The syllabus covers:

  • Applied rationality

  • Effective animal advocacy
  • The EAA movement
  • Theoretical issues
  • Practical issues
  • Animal welfare and rights
  • Social and institutional change
  • Legal and political change
  • Technological and economic change
  • The limits of animal advocacy
  • The future of animal advocacy

There’s no need to commit to all sessions and participants can join when a topic is of interest.
